On 15 March 2024, all Secondary 2 students participated in an engaging and educational experience that included a talk on ecosystems, as well as interactive encounters with a wide array of fascinating animals.
The event aimed to provide students with a hands-on opportunity to explore the wonders of nature and develop a greater appreciation for the delicate balance of ecosystems. Through dynamic presentations and interactive activities, students gained valuable insights into the importance of biodiversity, conservation, and the interdependence of various species.
One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity for students to interact with a diverse range of animals. Under the supervision of trained professionals, students had the chance to get up close and personal with fascinating creatures, including a tarantula, a bullfrog, a lizards, an iguana, snakes, a tortoise, and a hedgehog. These hands-on interactions allowed students to observe the unique characteristics and behaviors of each animal, fostering a sense of empathy and respect for the natural world.
